POC Skiing/Snowboarding Group Lesson Cancellation and Refund Policy

Class Cancellation Policy

1. Commitment to Regular Classes

Pacific Outdoor Club (POC) is fully committed to conducting all regular class sessions as scheduled, prioritizing participant safety and delivering exceptional service.
 

2. Weather & Cancellation Policy
If a cancellation is necessary due to severe weather, safety concerns, or resort conditions, official notice will be issued by the night before the scheduled class (e.g., Friday evening for Saturday classes, Saturday evening for Sunday classes), published exclusively via email to your registered address, on our official website at www.pacificoutdoor.org, and through our official RedNote (小红书) channel.

3. Cancellation Makeup

If a session is canceled, it will automatically be rescheduled for the following weekend as the makeup session, pushing all remaining classes back by one week. Please note that a maximum of two (2) makeup sessions can be accommodated in this manner.

4. Season End & Community Event

Regular class sessions will strictly wrap up by March 14, 2027 (inclusive of up to two makeup weeks). Following the last regular class session, March 21, 2027, or the following Sunday (whichever comes first), is exclusively reserved for our special Group Riding session as a community appreciation event.

5. Mid-Session Disruptions

If an unexpected resort closure or severe operational disruption occurs after a class has already started, the session will be considered fulfilled and will not be rescheduled or made up. On-site decisions regarding same-day session closures are determined solely by the POC Program Director, whose primary priority is ensuring participant and staff safety. We appreciate our customers' understanding and respect for these safety-driven decisions. 

6. Refunds for Excessive Cancellations

If more than two (2) cancellations occur and all seven (7) regular sessions cannot be completed on or before the March 14, 2027 cutoff, POC will issue a prorated refund for any uncompleted regular class sessions.

7. Personal Absences

Missed classes due to personal reasons (e.g., illness, personal schedule conflicts, or travel) do not qualify for make-up sessions or refunds.

 

Refund Policy

1. Cancellations or Booking Changes by POC / Ski School

For any cancellations, program changes, or early end to the ski season initiated directly by Pacific Outdoor Club or due to resort operational conditions, no processing fees will ever be charged. Full prorated refunds will be issued for any uncompleted class sessions.

2. Cancellation or booking change by a customer

On or Before December 1st,  full refunds are available for cancellation requests.

After December 1st, refunds will be prorated based on the remaining number of lessons, minus a processing fee equal to the cost of one lesson.

All cancellation, booking change, or refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to pocskiservice@gmail.com. Every request must include the student's full name and reservation number to be processed.

Please note that no refunds will be issued for missed lessons resulting from late arrivals once a class has departed the meeting area, nor for absences due to illness, personal emergencies, or conflicting activities.
